Background
Pluswork is an independent and privately owned employment business and recruitment agency. We started in Manchester city centre at the end of 1973 offering temporary office administration and secretarial services to private and public sector organisations in the Manchester area.

The business developed steadily over the next thirty years, still focussed on temporary work services but also extended into the manufacturing and logistics sectors supplying "blue collar" workers on large volume and long term flexible staffing contracts and on-site managed services.

Offices were opened around the North West of England and today recruitment facilities in most major towns in the region enable Pluswork to offer local people to employers throughout the North West for short term, long term temporary or permanent placement.

Although still principally a North West based business, significant investment in technology and a flexible organisational structure has enabled contract and permanent recruitment facilities to be offered throughout the UK.
